I’ve said before I wish I was the sort of person who didn’t eat when they were stressed. If I was, I wouldn’t have eaten an entire bag of creme eggs in one day! I also wouldn’t have missed half my training walks.
I came back from Hawaii swearing I was committed to this losing weight thing and… well… you can see how well my commitment is going so far.
Of course, I could blame some of the stress on the terrible threats I’ve been receiving. Yes, I know it’s hard to believe, but a certain person has been plotting my murder while she has been out doing her training for our half marathon!
But it’s Monday and so I’m starting fresh once again. I know, how cliche is that?!
I have a new book! Apparently I suffer from the same affliction as Janet and I have a collection of diet, health and well-being books. But I love this new one. OK, I haven’t had much chance to read very far through it yet, but the intro was great! And I received recommendations for this book from a number of different people.
I’m going to read this from cover to cover and let you know what I think.
I’m also going to have a much better week… at least I hope so!
